A Forest Exhibition

“A Forest”

I chose to write the title in English to draw attention and emphasize the importance of this word that refers to nature’s temples. The English word is also close to the French, and a reference to the song by The Cure.
“A Forest” is my study of these spectacular juniper trees – an ongoing esthetic exploration that began 3 years ago in Formentera.

“Humans who wish to be trees”

Hip-hop dancers, with their disjointed bodies and movements beyond matter, inspired me as counterparts to the junipers. By becoming trees, they could express their desires for beauty and eternity.
